I am a licensed psychotherapist (MFC# 50193). I work with individuals, couples, and families. Prior to my work as a therapist, I began my education at The University of Illinois, receiving my undergraduate degree in Humanities from The New School. I earned my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I completed my training and internship at The Southern California Counseling Center, and am a graduate of their Family Therapy Training Program.
My areas of clinical emphasis include working with:
depression
anxiety
relationship and intimacy issues
loneliness
self-esteem
addiction and recovery
couples therapy
infidelity
professional transition
the so-called “quarter-life” and “mid-life” crises
blended families
effects of mental illness on families
grief and loss
I concentrate on helping people choose ways of understanding their actions, context, and the people around them to enable them to live the kinds of lives they want to lead.
